Thirsting for True Democracy in the Dry Desert of Dictatorship

one victim among Oromo University Students
In the most documentary films, especially on the National Geography, I always see when animals are eaten by crocodiles. During the dry season, most animals lost their lives on searching for their thirsty. Similarly, in dictator’s country, most people have been eaten by dictator’s gun and prison while they were searching for true democracy.
One of Oromo’s mother is weeping for her shot son
Likely, the Ethiopian Security Forces=TPLF(Tgrai Liberation Front or Woyane) has been eating and again sharpening their jaws to eat democracy craving Ethiopians, particularly, the Oromos, under the darkness of pseudo-democracy. In Ethiopia, both Ethiopian people and constitution are jailed at stand. It looks like a rich man who has only one leg that somebody is beating and breaking his leg to easily steal his properties.

On the other hand, in Ethiopia, both media and journalist are properties of Ethiopian ‘government’. It is not allowed to anybody to speak his/her and people’s mind, but only ‘government’s’ or groups  owned gun plus power’s mind. I think, it is easy to only speak other’s mind for a parrot, but not for humans. We have been learning in modern universities. But, we couldn’t practice modernity in backward regulations. Dictators believe in gun and force, but if mind is there, a little boy can ride a horse…

Why Ethiopian University students have been yelping for true democracy since Hailesillassie Regime or 1950s? Nowadays, why Oromo University Students and intellectuals are being killed, arrested, tortured, and dismissed? Why to being an Oromo and journalist is the worst situation in Ethiopia? Why Oromo students are being ‘firewood’s’ for Woyane’s firearms? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6V2QLA-nRt0&noredirect=1
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-27251331 Purposely, why killing, arresting, torturing, exiling, land grabbing, dismissal, etc. are targeted to Oromos? According to 2014 Amnesty International Report, since 2011, at least 5,000 Oromos have been suffering in Ethiopian prison.http://www.amnesty.org/en/library/info/AFR25/006/2014/en many people estimate that at least 20,000-25,000 Oromos arrested in Ethiopia since 1991. In a country of 80 different ethnic groups-Ethiopia, more than 90%, prisons occupied by Oromos.

The Danger Politics of Collections Captive and Unlettered:Its Caravan

comparing politics of captives, unlettered and camel's caravan

The main characteristics of dictators government is either empty-minded or unintelligent ‘politics’ caravan’ which is guided by a single person. There is no check and balance in power, and also there is no secularism. There are also no free institutions like courts, educational institutions, religions, media, electoral board, etc. A driver of ‘political caravan’ is in all sectors. In that country, he/she is taken as ‘small god’. No one matters about the destiny of the country; rather, however, nobody has any rest to exploit the country’s resources and to build him/herself out of the country. But, one day, it’s known that the driver of the caravan will expose the driven for dangers or leave alone in a dangerous desert…

On the other hand, educated and intelligent people are not allowed to participate in politics and all sectors. On the contrary, they are participant to be jailed, killed, exiled, demoralized, etc. Similarly, education has no value in such countries. In this corrupt system, rich unlettered guys easily buy the forged and saleable degree from the ’shop-colleges’. Brain drain is highly seen here…

Meanwhile, in a country of multi-ethnic groups, the driver of ‘political caravan’ can facilitates genocide among ethnic groups by benefiting only his/her own ethnic groups in biased way while ignoring and irritating others. Most of the unlettered dictators do not pay attention for the discussion around the table, but for the gun mouth…

Sometimes, most of the people feel pain while the ‘democratic’ and ‘developed’ countries standing with dictators for sake of their interests. Amazingly, some when, these ‘democratic’ countries mourn with victims during the day time, as well as, they spent times with the killers at a party. So, what is truth? Where is truth? Who is right and who is wrong? Who is free and who is bloody-hand? Who is the three eyed for coming catastrophes and dangerous? An Oromo proverb says “yoo arbi lamaan wol-lole, kan jalqaba miidhamu margaafi haxanxariidha”-which means when two elephants are fighting each other, the first victim is the grasses and bushes. Dr. Marara Gudina said, “The God and whites help a person who helps him/herself.” I said, without self-involvement, nobody can sense sex and freedom…
